Your team will follow the same procedure as they would building a new house, and will welcome your input all along the way–but they’ll also always be ready to do all the hard work if you want to be more hands off, so that you can just sit back and watch your home’s transformation.
As you watch, you can expect to see a timeline something like this:
- Initial consultations between you and Pence Quality Homes. Cumulative time estimate: 2 weeks.
- Within 1 week of #1: meeting with the architect.
- Within 30 days of #2: architect will present a completed concept plan. Cumulative time estimate: 1.5 months.
- Within 30 days of #3: a complete set of plans will be presented and an agreement signed. Cumulative time estimate: 2.5 months.
- Within 60 days of #4: you will begin meeting with vendors to further personalize your home. Cumulative time estimate: 4.5 months.
- Within 15 days of #5: renovation will begin. Cumulative time estimate: 5 months.
- Between 3 and 12 months after #6, depending on project scale: your renovation project will be completed.
Total project time estimate: up to 17 months.
